Media outlets, fans, and who knows who else have started rumblings that the Miami Heat should trade Dwyane Wade since the Heat are 6-1 without him this season. That is just plain RIDICULOUS! Why would the Heat trade the face of the franchise? Why would they trade a guy who took less than the max to bring two other stars to town? Why would they trade a top 5 talent in the league? Why would they change up the roster and potential upset the chemistry already built? Why would they move a guy that could one day mean as much to South Florida as say Dan Marino?

It just doesn’t make sense why people jump to these conclusions so fast. Yes, the Heat have done very well with him out, but players on the roster
have stepped up to fill his void to a point for the time being. You can’t ask or even expect James Jones, Mike Miller, Shane Battier, and Mario
Chalmers to up there games for the remainder of the season to make Wade become irrelevant. This is Dwyane Wade we are talking about here. The same guy who led the Heat to the championship in 2005-2006 and the same guy that has put entire teams on his back throughout the entire season and into the playoffs.

Wade will be back and the Heat are doing the right thing in holding him out a little longer to make sure he is fully healed before stepping back onto
the court. There is no reason to rush it as it will most likely lead to the same issue of playing a few games and then missing a few if they don’t
allowing him the chance to be fully healthy. Pat Riley and Eric Spoelstra know exactly when the right time will be to bring him back.

So until Wade is hurting the team by being on the court or in the locker room, stop the nonsense and let this team fully mature into what it really
can be.
