Going into the game last night versus the Los Angeles Lakers, the Heat had to be a little worried. Dwyane Wade was already pronounced out and then LeBron James was sent home from shoot around with flu-like symptoms. This just meant the Heat were going to need a total team effort from anyone that played, no matter how healthy they were. The Heat beat the Lakers pretty handily and had control from the jump.

LeBron ended up playing and what a game he had. He finished with 31 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, and 3 blocks. The Heat played with
fantastic energy the entire game and best of all…there was an Eddy Curry sighting! He came in twice for 3 minute stints and showed that when he gets into full game shape, he could be just what the team needed. He’s a big body with really good hands.

The Heat keep rolling and look to take out another quality opponent on Saturday when the Philadelphia 76er’s come into town.
