It was yet another slow start for the Miami Heat last night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Heat looked flat and slow from the opening tip. Shane Battier got the start in place of Dwyane Wade, who was out for his 8th game of the season. It is becoming more and more obvious that the
players trying to step in for Wade are getting more and more exhausted.

Chris Bosh has played outstanding basketball while Wade had been out and last night’s game was no different. Bosh led the team in scoring for the
4th time this year and it was also his 4th time scoring over 30 points this season. He finish with 35 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block. The 35 points scored tied his career high in a Heat uniform. He also went 14-14 from the free throw line, with a good amount of them being in the last few minutes of the 4th quarter.

LeBron James had a somewhat quiet game against his old team. He is now 4-1 against them in the 5 games he’s played. James finished with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. The Heat also got a nice boost from Norris Cole off the bench, who has been in a shooting slump recently.

The Heat have a quick turn around as they play the Detroit Pistons tonight up in Detroit. Dwyane Wade flew with the team up there last night, but it is unknown if he will suit up for the team tonight or hold out for a comeback against the New York Knicks on Friday back in Miami. Whether he
plays or not the Heat need to show more energy from the start, like they were doing earlier this season.
