Rockets In Our House & Shaq Is Pumped

November 23rd, 2007 @ 4:44:30 PM

From Shaq: “If teams are going to double, we’ve got to kick it out and guys have to step up and make ‘em pay,” he said. “If they’re not going to double, then I’ve got to make ‘em pay.

“And I haven’t been making ‘em pay. But I will. It’s payday.”

Shaq has definitely been slacking or at least appearing to slack. I don’t know if its the system that they are using or what, but Shaq has not been dominating AT ALL.

If Shaq gels the rest of the team will as well. He really is the keystone.

With all this talk I want to see Shaq pound the Rockets and Yao. I want to see alot of ball rotation and inside dominance. Dominance on 3. DOMINANCE!

Couldn’t Catch The Sonics

November 15th, 2007 @ 10:45:49 PM

The Sonics, although a crappy team overall, beat the Heat badly. I didn’t post on the Knicks game, but that was the best I’ve seen the Heat look and then they just roll up go home for the Sonics. Maybe the team expected more out of D Wade so they mentally were unprepared. I don’t know.

I’m liking this team a whole lot better than last years lineup. This team has potential if they can get it together. We finally have some athletic big men and more potent ball handlers this time around. I like the agressiveness we get with Alexander Johnson. Even though they now have more athletes on the team they still can’t run the court. Their defense needs serious work.
Shaq is just a giant log at this point. I’m wondering if we are ever going to see glimpses of old diesel ever again. Whats with all the finesse stuff? Just start flexing some muscle on the boards already. He must be hurt or in pain, because all we ever see are outside hooks and one handed lobs.

Spurs Beat Heat

November 8th, 2007 @ 3:56:58 PM

Even though we lost to the Spurs last night, I thought the team played better than any other game so far this year. So we are down 0-4. Did anyone expect anything better with this mish mosh?

Ricky Davis and Smush are showing signs of some good ball playing. Well mostly Ricky. Smush can handle the ball though.

Shaq had his best game of the season. Finally got to see an alley oop all over the back of Spurs center Fabricio Oberto.
